WHO ARE WE?
  • We are Alec and Jo Palmer
  • We trade as The Framing Lot, 4 Millennium Units, Dawlish Business Park, Dawlish, Devon, EX7 0NH.
  • We are a data controller of your personal data.
WHAT KINDS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT YOU DO WE PROCESS?
  • We collect your personal details directly from you.
  • This may include your name, address, telephone number (mobile, landline or both) and email address.
  • We use your personal information to link to orders you place with us or quotes we provide to you.
  • You are free to update, correct and amend it at any time by providing us with the new information.
  • If you qualify for a discount rate we will link you to a discount bracket (eg art group).
  • We collect no other data about you and do not use the data to screen customers.
  • We store information about orders including things such as processing dates.
  • Our system does not store credit or debit card information or any bank details from you.
  • We securely store our Merchant copies from card payments, in addition these do not include full card information.
  • We no longer have the facility to take credit card payments by phone.
  • We have actively password protected electronic devices on which we may store email or text messages.
  • We keep your details to update you on orders placed or quotes requested.
  • We do not record or monitor telephone calls.
WHAT DO WE DO WITH YOUR INFORMATION?
  • We do not use your information for the purposes of marketing.
  • Unless legally obliged to do so, we do not disclose or sell your information to any third parties.
  • We have secured our database by password protecting it.
  • We remotely back up our database to the Cloud.
  • We hold information to enable us to provide you with our products or services.
  • We only hold information where we have a legitimate business interest to do so.
  • We currently hold records of all orders placed with us since our business started on 26th June 2006. This allows us to cross reference new orders to match previous products.
  • Due to Government regulations for tax and accounting purposes, we are legally obliged to keep all records for a minimum of seven years, . Beyond that customers may request that we dispose of their previous order history, as a result of which we would comply with any such request.
  • Customers are entitled to request copies of the data we hold on them and can do so at any time by requesting it from us.
